Мақалада қазақ мәдениетінің негізгі салаларының бірі – қазақ музыкасы бойынша зерттеу жүргізген белгілі ғалым, қазақ өнерінің дамуына орасан зор үлес қосып, саналы ғұмырының барлығын қазақ музыка аспаптарын зерттеуге арнаған аспаптанушы, этнограф, педагог Болат Шамғалиұлы Сарыбаевтың көне музыкалық аспаптарды зерттей отыра, қазақ музыка мәдениетін өркендетуге барынша атсалысқандығы, бұрын ешкім білмеген көне аспаптарды қайтадан жаңғыртқандығы туралы айтылатын болады. Сондай-ақ оның өмір жолының сан алуандығы, осы жолға қалай келіп, оған кімнің сеп болғандығы, көне музыкалық аспаптарды Қазақстан өңірлері бойынша жинап, олардың ойналу тәсілдерін меңгеріп қана қоймай, шәкірттеріне де үйретіп, сол аспаптардан тұңғыш болып оркестр құрып, жоғалған аспаптардың оқу орындарында оқытылуына дейін қол жеткізгендігі тілге тиек болмақ.
