Диуана негізінен сопылық жолды ұстанып, ел аралап қайыр-садақа сұрап, тақуалық жолмен, ешқандай меншік иеленбей өмір сүрді. Оның ел аралағанда айтатын арнайы өлеңі табылды, оны халық «Диуанабәйіт» деп атаған. «Диуанабәйіт» өлеңінде диуананың қызметі, бейнесі, мақсаты, елге айтатын ғибратты уағызы қамтылған. Бұл зерттеуде магиялық фольклорда бақсы сарынынан кейінгі кезеңде диуанабәйіт жанрлық түрі болғаны экспедиция материалы негізінде дәлелденді.
