Зерттеу мақсаты – аталған түркі халықтарындағы Алыпқа қатысты сюжет пен мотивтердің жанрлық болмысын саралау, оның бейнелік сипатының бір-бірімен қаншалықты үндесетінін айқындау, тарихи-генетикалық сабақтастықтың қандай дəрежеде орын алғанын, яғни, алыптар туралы мифологиялық сюжеттердің түркілік табиғатын таныту.
