Abstract
The article discusses the development of the Spasskoe village in Atbasar district, Akmola region. By presenting the historico-cultural heritage through objects of church wooden architecture, it provides an opportunity to reveal the national heritage of material and spiritual culture more extensively.
The main object of our study was the history of a wooden church construction, which existed in the village until the 80s of the 20th century.
A unique monument of wooden architecture was once among the monuments of historico-cultural significance. The architecture of the building represented a certain aesthetic value, beauty and perfection of individual forms, general proportional structure in the characteristic traditions of Russian wooden architecture.
In the early 80s, under the influence of the media, the question of the historical monument preservation need arose. Local authorities decided to dismantle the building and move it to the regional center - Atbasar city for restoration and placement of exhibits of the local history museum in it. The church building was kept dismantled for several years but was never restored. Among the documentary local history materials of the local history expert N.V. Antonchev, an employee of the Regional Museum of History and Local History, a set of documents related to attempts of drawing attention to the church building restoration possibility was identified. The funds of the Historical Archive of the Omsk Region contain materials characterizing the interaction of local authorities with the Omsk Spiritual Consistory on issues of church and parish construction.
